The Amazing Fantasy…

As a long time fan of comic books, I’ve always admired the collecting aspect of these masterpieces from when I was a kid up until now. Unfortunately, my consistency wasn’t the greatest and getting to a local comic shop in my area at times proofed to be a challenge. Thus, I hopped in/out of the passion of collecting throughout the journey that is called “life” and wasn’t able to commit the time that I’d like. That’s been my relationship with comic books over the years but with the resurgence of these beloved characters through the world of cinema interest is at an all time high. More specifically my interest and the reasons why I enjoyed this hobby so much in the first place. Fast forward to now, over the past few years I’ve begun the long journey of rebuilding my ideal collection of books (amongst other geekery) and also got into the world of graded comics (slabs) so I figure that I should document the process hence - Capture The Slab was born.

Capture The Slab is not only meant to document my collecting journey but also I wanted to provide other would be collectors opportunities to acquire books that I’ve come across. So I’ve created a shop for would be collectors to check out in hopes of helping build your collection too. Now my current collection has a lot of growing to do, it’s about 4-5 years in the making but it’s something I’m proud about and always love showing off. Check out some of my books from my personal stash…
