The 2nd series in the follow up of DC Super Powers (1985) and also based on the the cartoon series that goes by the same name, this book features Desaad, Kalibak, and company who are seeking to flee Apokolips, which has recently been liberated from Darkseid's tyrannical rule. (The story references Jack Kirby's graphic novel The Hunger Dogs.) Meanwhile, the Justice League gathers to investigate the arrival on Earth of UFOs.
